Hi Joseph,
Is it ok to still e-mail you regarding your yi-globe theory? I loved reading about it and I am grateful for your discovery and research into it. However your original site has deleted your e-mail address.
Logically, the idea of a predecessor was the only way to find some order in the sequence. As for me, in no wise could I imagine that King Wen (or somebody else) lays down sixty-four oracle bones in a row of six meters long (10 cm/piece) and runs from one end to the other to put them in order. The first step must have been to sort them, to assign them to smaller groups. And this had to be done before the conformation of the linear arrangement.

You can try iching@t-online.hu.
Thanks

It seems rather promising. I say, the existence of a columnar “predecessor” is a unique idea!
